The Attention To Detail

Your London home from home with us has been lovingly set up to ensure every detail is at a very high standard of taste, warmth and elegance.

The property, which is fully furnished, consists of a, separate kitchen equipped with all essentials and bathroom with shower. There are two bedrooms and a sitting / dining room.

For A Comfortable Nights’ Sleep

The apartment will comfortably enable 4 to 6 people to have a good night’s kip as there are 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed.

And during the day

The apartment is located just off the Fulham road and Fulham Palace roads which offer a fantastic array of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and pubs.

It’s Easy To Get Around!

Just 10 minute walk from Putney Bridge (750 meters) and Parsons Green (950 meters) tube stations.

All towels and bedding are of high quality cotton and these will be replaced after every check out with fresh clean ones.

Guest Access

The apartment is located in Waldemar Avenue.

Access to the apartment is obtained through a set of keys, which are stored in a key safe and easily accessible for guests. Details for these are provided once the booking is confirmed and approximately two weeks in advance of your visit.

Access is through the front door from the Avenue into the main building and then through the apartment main door, which is up a short flight of stairs and on your left hand side.

Once inside access to all rooms is on the 1st floor, so it is straightforward for people to move around. There is a set of shallow steps into the back bedroom.

We provide all guests with ‘Our local guide to Fulham’ two weeks before arrival. This explains how to reach the apartment by planes, trains and automobiles as well as many local places you can visit, eat, drink or go to during your visit.

Interaction with Guests

Our approach is providing you, the guest, with the freedom you require to fully enjoy your stay at the apartment. In advance of your arrival we’lI provide you with a ‘welcome pack’ document that sets out what you need to know about the apartment when you arrive.

On arrival Maddy, my housekeeper extraordinaire can meet you at the apartment, if requested. If you’d rather the privacy & intimacy to enter the apartment on your own we’ll respect your request. After your scheduled check in time either Maddy or I will contact via text or email to confirm all is well.

During your stay I will make contact from time to time by text message or phone to ensure all things are well. On the morning of check out I will again text you to support a successful check out.

If at any time during your stay you need Maddy to come to the apartment you only need text or phone and one of us will attend straightaway.

The Neighbourhood

There are cinemas, swimming pool, and tennis courts nearby in Fulham, Hammersmith and Putney.

Also, World-famous sporting and entertainment venues are within easy distance, including Chelsea Football Club at Stamford Bridge, Fulham Football Club at Craven Cottage, Wimbledon, Queens Club (Tennis) at West Kensington and Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre.


This is a fashionable, sought-after location, perfect for families, couples, young professionals and holiday makers looking for somewhere clean, fresh and fabulous to stay.

Very close to the River Thames, Bishops Park with its tennis academy, trendy Parsons Green with its plethora of bars and restaurants and hourly/ daily rentable “Boris Bikes”.

It’s easy!

The timings given here are if you are going slowly but if you walk at a faster pace, the time will be less.

• 5 mins to fashionable restaurants, bars and shops of Fulham Road, Munster Road, Putney High Street and Parsons Green;
• 10 mins walk from Putney Bridge tube (District Line);
• 1 mins walk to bus stops for buses to Central London;
• 15 mins walk from Putney Train Station;
• 1 minute walk from Munster village’s bars, shops and restaurants
• 2 minute walk from multiple bus routes to central London
• 10 minute walk to Parsons Green tube station (District Line)
• 60 minutes to Heathrow (Piccadilly Line/District Line) or 30 minutes by taxi
• 60 minutes to Gatwick Airport (District Line to Victoria, then Gatwick Express) or 50 minutes by taxi.

Other Things to Note


If you are a smoker you are welcome to stay but PLEASE ONLY SMOKE OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT so as to keep the inside nice and fresh. Thank you so much.

The large doors to the outside in the main bedroom remain locked for security reasons. It is not a balcony because there are no railings on the edges of the wall. However, there is a beautiful park very close though, just a few minute’s walk away, it is called Bishop’s Park where you can enjoy wide open spaces outside and a lovely walk along The River Thames and it also has a large area for kiddies to play there too.

Eating Out/Going Out, Theatre, Musicals:

Well, where to start? London has to be the most cosmopolitan city in the World from where you can experience almost any cuisine you could imagine. With restaurants to suit every budget, eating well without spending a fortune. If you’re stumped for a venue our local guide, which we email to you in advance of your arrival will certainly help you out with the decision making.

Further Afield:

If you wish to leave the city for a day or two! Windsor, Stonehenge, Brighton, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, are all easy day trips, worth considering if you have the time.

House Rules

The main rules are that people treat the neighbours and the apartment with respect.

The apartment should be left as you found it but if you do break, damage or lose any items please let me know.

This apartment is not available for or to be used for a party during your stay. If you do have this requirement please do discuss it with me.

The next guests in will be expecting the same inventory that you found on arrival.

Amendments and cancellation

If canceled or modified up to 60 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later, 100 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

    Great apartment with everything you could require . Was beautifully warm to come home to after full on days of sightseeing. Great access to London central and the shops on Fullam Road [ 5 minutes walk] deserve a days attention. The booking process from start to finsh was professional and Pam Cobb's information prior to arrival and during our stay [ sadly only 3 days, but we will be back in June ] was the best we we have experienced in all the years of using Home away. In conclusion i only can only say '' Look no further '' you will not be disappointed.
