Burns Night in London

Burns Night is annually celebrated in Scotland on or around January 25. It commemorates the life of the bard (poet) Robert Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759. The day also celebrates Burns’ contribution to Scottish culture.

The annual Scottish knees-up is always a great excuse for a party via a lot of food, whisky and partying at some of London’s best bars. From ceilidhs to whisky tasting to Burns Night meals that dabble with vegan food and street food, there’s something for everyone.

Many London restaurants and bars hold Burns Night events, serving up suppers of haggis and tatties with a glass of Scottish whisky.
