Each year, London remembers those who lost their lives in war, with Silence in the Square, Remembrance Sunday and more commemorative events. Happening from 11th to 13th November, 2016.
Starting at 11am, the service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
The Queen and other members of state place wreaths at the Cenotaph followed by two minutes’ silence and after a short service there is a march past by thousands who served and suffered in the conflict of war.
Remember those who gave their lives in the two world wars and all who have died in combat since, with commemorative events across London.
