Delicious & Nutritious Dining

Just a few recommendations for good food & drink etc.

Couple of the best bars: Liberties Tea Parlour & Cocktail Lounge is fantastic, The Manor pub is a proper sea shanty pub with a modern twist.

The Marina’s local pub/restaurant, The Prince William has just had a huge refurb, its good for bistro style food. Turn right out of the Marina, along the path and its about 100 yds on your left, just before the big1 white apartments.

Some of the best restaurants:

• The Curious Kitchen (Amazing Brunch / Coffee / Doughnuts)
• The Prince William (Bistro)
• Beamers (fish)
• Albero (stonebaked pizza)
• Mangiare (Italian / pasta)
• Shoals By The Lido (seafood)
• Berry Head Hotel (Bistro)

….a short stroll from The Inspiration….

Guardhouse Café

Berry Head Nature Reserve
Berry Head was once a Napoleonic Fort built to guard Torbay from French invaders. The current café was formerly a guardhouse, which was constructed in the 19thcentury, so that soldiers could protect the fort from potential enemy attack on the headland. For over 100 years, the Guardhouse Café was used as a tearoom, and is now a popular café that boasts historic appeal, with features such as the old tunnel system still visible.

Still serving the ever-popular cream teas, this picturesque café offers homemade breakfasts, light lunches, and cakes… and not to forget tasty scoops of ice cream! We highly recommend sitting outside, where fresh sea breeze, open coastline and the sounds of the sea create the ideal setting to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Once tum’s are full from devouring fluffy scones topped with lashings of cream and jam, why not walk off your indulgent lunch with a stroll around Berry Head Nature Reserve?
