What is included with the price of the lodge?
Within the price, you get all clean fresh bed linen and bath/hand towels (we ask that these are not used at the pools).
You also have a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pan and cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses etc.
Within the lodge you have a private hot tub that will be clean and ready for your arrival.
You have a large smart TV with free Netflix and a DVD.player.

- Starter pack – cleaning and washing up products, dishwasher tablets, a tea towel, an oven glove, tea, and coffee are provided.

They rarely pick up the phone but they do answer emails. So please email Finlake.Activities@haulfryn.co.uk and give them your name, the activity you want and when you want to do it. As any member of the public can book you do not need to say that you are staying at the lodge.
You can call to book as well on 01626 563 250 fora swim . They can take bookings up to 3 days in advance.
You can either pay over the phone when you book or on arrival.
For other activities, they can be booked via email or over the phone as well. You can book these quite far in advance.
HORSE RIDING AT THE RESORT

SPA SESSIONS AND TREATMENTS
Entrance to the spa is £25 during the weekend and £20 during the week for a 2 hour relax in the spa where there is the hot tub, saunas, steam room and quiet pool. This is for anyone over 18 years old.

What is Finlake Falls?
Finlake Falls is the Haulfryns state-of-the-art fitness complex and waterpark.
Its offers you the very best in fitness facilities, including 15 bike spin studio, 32 capacity fitness studio, bespoke sauna & steam room, free weights, and over 60 pieces of cardio-vascular & resistance equipment.
Whether you wish to do a few lengths in our adult swimming pool, or have fun in our waterpark with flumes, pools, toddler splash water playground, and poolside Splash Café, there is something for everyone. Day passes can be purchased at the resorts Finlake Falls reception.
Are pets allowed at the Lodge?
No so sorry. We keep this lodge pet and smoking free.
Is the Hot Tub cleaned regularly?
The hot rub is cleaned between each visit. It is also chemically checked every day of your visit.
Where is the nearest Supermarket?
There is a small Spar and Co-Op in Chudleigh, and a large Tesco in Newton Abbot, however Tesco deliver to the resort.
You can do an online shop from the comfort of your home, and get it delivered for the day that you arrive or you can bring it with you as the lodge has a large fridge and a large freezer.
Tescos deliver right to Pure Bliss –. When ordering use the address ‘Woodland View 51. Finlake Holiday Park, Chudleigh, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ13 0EJ’. Make sure you include your mobile number as they call you to find our where your located.
What is not included / recommend we bring?
Its recommended that you bring with you;
Swimming towels for the Hot Tub/Swimming pools, toiletries and soap, additional toilet rolls and cleaning products maybe required as there is not a daily cleaning service.
Can we book Go Active /Go Active Kids sessions before we come?
Yes you can, and its recommended that you your book sessions before you arrive to start planning a brilliant holiday.

When booking I see we can book early check-in / Late checkout?
That is correct. This is due subject to availability and can be refused (and refunded) after booking.
Early Check-in is 1pm, and Standard Check-in is 4pm.
Late Check-out is 1pm and Standard is 10am.
Due to the deep cleaning that takes place between stays, we are unable to offer late checkout if someone has previously purchased an early check-in. The same goes for Early checkin if someone has previously purchased a late check out.

Towels & linen
Fresh towels and linen is provided, however please bring your own flannels and swimming towels.

Parking
You will find a parking bay next to your lodge.
Check in time 16:00
You are welcome to arrive at the holiday park any time you like and you can enjoy the facilities and activities during the day. If you arrive before 16:00. If the housekeeping team is ready for you before 16:00 they will send you a text message to let you know.
Easy check-out time 10:00
Check out is at 10:00 please from the lodge. However, you can enjoy the facilities at the park for the whole day. So, if you would like to stay at the holiday park for longer you might like to consider booking a slot at the swimming pool to have a last shower before you head off home if you would like that.
FINLAKE’S RULES
The Finlake Resort is a private estate with a few social etiquette rules which may not be immediately apparent, so I would love to share them with you here please:
- No big parties please. (A small dinner party is obviously more than fine)
- Please don’t smoke inside and no BBQ near the lodge or leave it unattended – for fire safety…..super important
- Please do not speed on the roads as there are young children and animals on the estate.
- Please don’t park in the parking bays other than your specific lodge.
- Please don’t leave washing or towels on display over the balustrade although on the outside chairs is fine.
- Please don’t play games or picnic around the lodges, please go to the games area.
- Although super tempting please ask your kiddies to not bounce on the beds, run up and down the hill or too noisy considerate for neighbours.
- Enjoy the place as it is your own, don’t worry about the table cloth – if it gets dirty i can wash it easily.
- There are loads of play areas around the resort and my understanding is that they prefer us to not run up and down the hill in front of us…..just to be mindful of the neighbours..although again….looks tempting….
- Please remember to keep the noise to a considerate level to neighbours.
- Also, please only let natural waste and toilet paper go down the toilets.
