See the pretty waterways of Little Venice

The pretty waterways of Little Venice will be really special over the 2015’s May bank holiday weekend as the Inland Waterways Association organises their annual gathering of canal boats. Just north of Paddington lies Little Venice. It is a picturesque pool of water where the Grand Union and Regent’s Canals meet, and it is home to a number of waterside cafes, pubs and eateries. From here you can take a boat trip or follow the tow path on foot and see how the winding waterway snakes its way through the heart of the city.

During the May bank holiday, many of the waterborne homes will also be decorated for the celebrations, and visitors can experience plenty of traditional British fun. There’ll also be trade stalls, live music, children’s activities and refreshments.

This is such an attractive area with so much to see and do. You may find the Waterside Café which is a floating luncheon/coffee wide beam narrowboat. It’s reasonably priced, generous portions and great quality!

We hope you have the time to explore this lovely area of London.
