Drive

Train
There is a mainline station at Brixham and there is also one at the nearby town of Totnes, so there are fast trains going to both places. Brixham is where your holiday location is but if you do go to Totnes, you can get a taxi or hire a car from right outside the station and the town itself is worth visiting. It has mostly independent chintzy shops and 50+ restaurants and cafes…a lot like Brixham. The drive from Totnes to Brixham is about 20 minutes, passing some very beautiful scenery.
Bus
If you are coming from London, the route 501 is £17 – London Victoria to Brixham on the National Express Coach takes 5.45 hours with no transfers and 9 stops These buses are comfortable, they have a video entertainment system and can give you a chance to catch up on some reading and film watching.
